This site is a tribute to Bill, a much loved husband, father, grandad, brother, uncle and friend, who was born in Chipping Ongar on 11th March 1943 and died in Southam on 26th June 2022, aged 79.

All who knew him are most welcome at the Service of Thanksgiving, and/or the Committal and Refreshments.

If you would like to give to charity in memory of Bill then we suggest donations to either RNLI or British Heart Foundation. For many years Bill has helped to raise funds for RNLI, initially by entering the regular quizzes compiled by Frank Shaw and then by encouraging his friends and family to participate too. British Heart Foundation has been a charity supported by the family since both Bill’s parents experienced heart disease and then Bill himself. Research supported by BHF undoubtedly contributed towards the successful heart surgery that Bill had in 1987 giving him a lot more than the anticipated 10 more years!
